Sacred Garden Designs was founded by Denise Buchanan who saw a need for creating garden spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but which are environmentally responsible and healing to the human psyche.
The results have proven that Denise is a Master Builder of amazing spiritual gardens and retreats at every scale. For over 15 years, Denise’s high energy, enthusiasm and expertise in generating landscapes that fit with the site has been sought for a variety of projects in Canada, the U.S.A. and the Caribbean. Denise cares about your small garden plot, your large residential estate, an urban park or trail, an eco-tourist resort or a national park or highway development. She stands behind the company’s mission to promote a culture of beauty, health and well-being through cultivating and preserving nature worldwide. Denise co-creates all her gardens with the profound connection she has with the Universal force behind all things and what emerges are spaces of extraordinary beauty, peace and tranquility.
Denise has a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture, a Masters Degree in Spiritual Psychology and she is a Licensed Landscape Contractor, a Sustainable Landscape Design Professional and a Certified Aerobics Instructor. Denise is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychoneurology, Health and Healing exploring the profound effects of the economics of natural systems on psychological, community and ecological well-being. Denise leads informative Garden Classes and Transformational Workshops and is available for speaking engagements.
