Sacred Garden Gourmet was founded by a global garden designer and frequent international traveler whose work spans regenerative landscapes, cultural foodways, and healing environments across continents.

While moving through airports and transit hubs worldwide, one gap became clear: travelers are offered convenience, but rarely nourishment rooted in culture, integrity, or place.

Sacred Garden Gourmet was created to change that.

The brand’s flagship product, Trinity Chips, is inspired by the founder’s Jamaican upbringing—where the aroma of jerk seasoning, root vegetables, and open-fire cooking defined home—and a later discovery of deep West African ancestry, where those same spices and crops originated before crossing the Atlantic through history and migration.

Made from taro, sweet potato, and beet, and seasoned with authentic Caribbean jerk spices rooted in West African tradition, Trinity Chips are slow-crisped, plant-forward, and clean-label—designed specifically for airport retail, travel, and global specialty markets.

This is not fusion for novelty’s sake.

OUR FOUNDER

Denise Buchanan is a Jamaican- and Nigerian-rooted entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience building regenerative, culturally grounded ventures.

As President of Sacred Garden Designs, she has led healing landscape projects that unite ecology, food, and human wellbeing.

She holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture and a Master’s in Spiritual Psychology, with advanced doctoral studies in Psychoneurology, bringing rare systems-level insight into how land, culture, and then ervous system thrive together.

Denise founded Sacred Garden Gourmet to translate ancestral African and Caribbean foodways into premium, scalable consumer products with purpose, integrity, and global relevance.
