Zucca – Italian Pumpkin

I love pumpkin and I decided to plant a new variety this year. I was thrilled to see these amazingly large leaves as this pumpkin grew in my garden. These beautiful graceful leaves which are 12″ in diameter, hover above the soil on thick stems. It will be delightful to see the new vegetables when they ripen in the next few months.
Such a delight to watch the pumpkins ripen.
Picked my first zucca and made soup with it. Deeelicious!!!
